Introducing the Caliyo Bridge

Stop losing high-value connections to “calendar tetris.”

You met the right person. Don't let the coordination tax kill the momentum. The Caliyo Bridge turns handshakes into booked billable hours — without the back-and-forth email hell.

The hidden cost of “let’s grab coffee sometime”

By the time you send that email, the spark is cold.

You’re at a conference, a gala, a client site. You meet a perfect-fit lead. You exchange contact info and say those famous last words: “I’ll shoot you an email to get something on the calendar.” Then reality hits.

The time zone trap

You suggest 9:00 AM. They think it’s their 9:00 AM. They’re in London; you’re in New York.

The availability leak

A generic booking link makes your calendar look like a barren wasteland — or worse, overshares your personal gaps.

The cognitive load

Mental gymnastics trying to remember why you needed to meet them while juggling three other email threads.

10%
of billable capacity, lost to the friction of meeting.
That’s what most professional services firms pay just to get on each other’s calendars. We think that’s a waste of your expertise.
How the Bridge works · the radical honesty version

From handshake to booked in 60 seconds.

We’ll be straight with you: it takes about two minutes to configure your Bridge settings. But once it’s done, you stop being a scheduling assistant and start being an expert.

01

The handshake

You meet someone. Instead of hunting for a business card they’ll lose, you pull up your Caliyo QR code.

02

The handoff

They scan it. They aren’t met with a cold, static grid of boxes. They meet your Caliyo AI assistant.

03
I’m free Friday morning.
Anna’s open at 10 AM your time. Book it?

The conversation

The new contact chats with Caliyo — they can even upload a screenshot of their own calendar. Caliyo respects your Focus Protection rules.

04
THU · 10:00 AM ET

The confirmation

Caliyo finds the overlap, handles the time zone math, and sends the invite. No emails. No “is next Thursday better?” No friction.

What it actually looks like

One QR code. One conversation. Zero “is next Thursday better?”

Your guest scans your code and meets your Caliyo assistant directly — in a browser, no app required. They share when they’re free; Caliyo handles the time zone math, the focus rules, and the invite.

  • No app install for your guest — just a camera and a browser.
  • Caliyo never reveals your full availability — just thoughtful options.
  • Time zones, daylight savings, travel math — handled automatically.

Why the Bridge is different

And why your calendar is safe.

We protect your deep work

Most scheduling tools are open gates — if there’s a gap, anyone can take it. Caliyo is a protective layer. Tell it: “Only book intro meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays,” or “Never book more than two of these per day.” The Bridge respects your boundaries so you can stay out of Notification Hell.

Total privacy, zero embarrassment

Sharing a link that shows every free minute of your day feels… desperate. Caliyo acts as a professional buffer. It suggests a few optimal times based on context, keeping your full schedule private.

Eliminating the time zone tax

If you’ve ever woken up for a 6:00 AM meeting because of a manual scheduling error, you know the pain. Caliyo handles the UTC offsets, daylight savings, and travel math automatically.

“I used to spend my Sunday nights triaging my inbox just to see who I actually managed to get on the calendar. With the Bridge, the meetings just appear — properly vetted and perfectly timed. I’ve recovered my Sunday nights.

Frequently asked questions

Honest answers to honest questions.

No. They just need a camera and a browser. We don’t believe in forcing your leads to sign up for tools just to talk to you.
You set the rules. You can create different Bridges for different contexts — one for “Discovery Calls” with stricter rules, and one for “Peer Networking.”
No. You need to sync your calendar and define your “Deep Work” blocks first. If you don’t tell Caliyo when you want to work, it can’t protect you. It takes a few minutes of intent to save hours of chaos.
They can drop a screenshot into the conversation. Caliyo reads the free/busy blocks privately, finds the overlap with your protected schedule, and proposes the best two or three options — never sharing either side’s full calendar.
Caliyo follows the strictest active rule. If you’ve said “no meetings before 10 AM” and your assistant has flagged a 9 AM slot as available, Caliyo will not book it. We err on the side of protecting your time.
